Spring Toddler Activities

I could not wait for the new blog to share some of my AMAZING finds with you guys! Especially since this weekend has got me totally in the spring, full bloom, stop and smell the flowers, can't wait for long evenings with my family type of mood. Ya know?

Easiest go to for me with two toddlers who love to write on EVERYTHING is definitely chalk! Both my kids are fans! I ordered this 16-piece by Crayola! They are big so both my kiddos can hold them and draw!

Another mom win is BUBBLES! Man do toddlers LOVE them some bubbles! My kids love playing with our bubble machine. I couldn't find our exact one we have but I found a similar type!

Another toy I am excited to pull out is Ulric's T-ball Set! We ordered him this Little Tike's set last year but he was still too little to hold the bat! Now he loves swinging the bat and hitting the ball while Sawyer chases after it!

My Grandma also ordered each of the kids one of the Little Tike Cozy Coupe cars! Again, still a little young last winter but I think they both will use them a lot this spring! I mean Sawyer is tall enough to reach the ground and pedal herself! I also love how Sawyer's is pink! Every girl should own a pink car once in her life!

I love taking the kiddos for a walk in the double stroller or a ride in our wagon! This Radio Flyer wagon is a must when you have two kids! It holds everything you need while on the go  - even just around the neighborhood you know one of your kids will be whining for snacks or a juice cup! I also like how they can still interact with each other! So cute!

We also just purchased the kids a swing set for the backyard and I could not be more excited to see Ully's face when we get it put together! {and by we I mean we are paying a company to do it!}
There will be a backyard makeover post coming! I am so excited to finally have a place where the whole family can hang out!

Let's not forget those rainy spring days that happen as well. Stuck inside with an over stimulated toddler - been there!
Here are a few toys you can have on hand to help curb the cabin fever!

We got Ulric this Mr. Potato Head set after his speech teacher suggested it for learning parts of the body but turns out both Sawyer and Ully LOVE playing with it!

I know it is not very popular with moms because Play-doh can be messy but Ulric is a BIG fan! I was in shock how much he loved playing with it! I just grabbed some on a whim while checking out of Target and he will sit and play with it for a good 20 minutes! Which is about as long as you can ask for a toddler boy!
So, I ordered him Play-doh accessories to go with it! I can't wait to see what he thinks!

Lastly, I found this button art education matching color game! Ulric loves learning his colors right now and is really good at it so thought this would be fun!

Also, Ulric loves doing the wooden string game when working with his OT, so I bought him his own animal set but found this super cute spring shape one! It is really good for toddlers learning how to use their thumb and pointer finger to grasp!

Totally realized how I mostly linked stuff for Ulric but mamas with one of each is it just me or are boys and girls SO different!?!
Sawyer is totally content sitting and playing {calmly, I might add} while Ulric throws a box of toys on the ground then runs away so I am always on the hunt to find him something that holds his attention!
Hopefully it is not just my two. Also, Sawyer is not immune to the hand me down second child syndrome! She loves playing with her big brothers cars and trucks!

Do you have any spring activity favorite you do with your kiddos!? Would love to hear how you keep your kids entertained in the spring months!

xoxo

I am also adding on our faucet extender we use for Ully to wash his hands and our step stool
I did come across this double stool that I would totally get if you have a higher sink like ours!
